Opinionated? Damn right!

And why wouldn't I be! After 21 years in broadcast media I've spoken to thousands of people both on and off-air and think I've got a better idea than most about what concerns residents of the Isle of Man. As producer and presenter of the daily 'Mandate' news and current affairs programme I had to be impartial and objective, but later with 'Talking Heads' and 'The Late Show' I was encouraged to be 'me' and stimulate lively discussions.

Here's a secret - sometimes I sided with the underdog in a debate just to give them a fair chance to establish a viewpoint I didn't necessarily believe in!
