Lots of opportunities to (lightly) grill the candidates...
If you're still undecided over who to vote for on 23rd September (and my boyish charm didn't win you over already) there are various hustings and broadcasts open to the public which you may enjoy
hustings /ˈhʌstɪŋz/ noun a meeting at which candidates in an election address potential voters. "he could hold his own in an election hustings" the campaigning associated with an election. plural noun: the hustings "I was out on the hustings, talking to people"
There's one near you in September, and whilst I don't know the format I expect each candidate will be able to briefly address the audience followed by questions from the moderator and the floor:
Marown Primary School
Wednesday, 1 September⋅19:00
Braddan Primary School
Monday, 6 September⋅19:00
Comis Hotel (Mount Murray)
Monday, 13 September⋅19:00
There are two other opportunities to make your candidates sweat:-
Studio 1 Tromode - an election/consituency video recording
Tuesday, 24 August⋅18:00
Studio One is situated in Cronkbourne Business Park, Braddan. IM4 4QE
Turn off the main Ballafletcher Road. Go past the entrance to the Creamery on your right, past the exit of the test centre on your left and it’s your next right. Come down the hill and round the left hander and we are as far as you can go. It will be clearly signed on the night.

Manx Radio constituency show, Douglas Rugby Club.
Wednesday, 15 September⋅19:00
(the Manx Radio website tells me this event is now SOLD OUT - sorry!)
It would be lovely to meet you at one of these events - especially if I missed talking to you whilst out canvassing. If it wasn't so serious I'd ask you to cheer for me and boo the other candidates, but that really would turn Manx politics into a pantomime! Oh yes it would...
